Travelers from all over the world will see the architectural artistry of an Iowa company at the new Denver International Airport in Colorado. Creative Edge Corporation of Fairfield used its abrasive waterjet technology to cut 5,000 pieces of stone and assemble them into this world mosaic. CEC's Harry Aalto interpreted the swirling design in 3/8ths inch marble. Aalto's company is a leading supplier of architectural graphics. Thirty four million passengers are expected to pass through the new Denver airport during its first year of operation. |
