ELECTRONIC TRANSFER OF ARTWORK

To ensure that your project is processed as quickly and accurately as possible, we have set up the following guidelines for artwork submission. The engineer assigned to your project will contact you if there any additional questions and/or problems. Creative Edge Mastershop, Inc. (CEMS), formerly Creative Edge Corporation, will require a signed approval of our shop drawing(s) before any job is released for production.

*(Use polyline arcs, rather than splines, for all arcs; the latter will not convert properly to NC Code for the waterjet machines. If ellipses are used, they must be drawn with the AutoCAD PELLIPSE variable set to 1.)

Note that bitmaps (raster images) imbedded in any of the above formats do not meet the guidelines for acceptable digital art. Vector art is needed.

Files containing text should have all text converted to curves, since the font used may not reside on our system and another font might be substituted inadvertently. Fonts produced in AutoCAD will not convert to outline form, and are therefore not usable. CEMS asks that you email your files to us if possible. (If you do not have access to email, then disks formatted for either IBM or MAC will work.)

Artwork submitted in any form other than the above may require cleanup and/or conversion at the rate of $100.00 per hour.
