Born to a Finnish father and Canadian mother, Annie Aalto spent much of her childhood travelling worldwide with her parents as her father pursued a career in fine and decorative arts. Her father later became established in the decorative flooring industry. Annie earned a BFA with an emphasis on metals and jewelry from Savanna College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2002. She continues to show her jewelry line at severals galleries across the country. Since graduation, Annie has worked with Creative Edge Master Shop and has become an expert in all phases of the design and manufacturing process. She has developed her own waterjet design style that is received with enthusiam by home and hotel owners world-wide. With her partners, Jim Belilove, Harri Aalto and Hawei Perrett, Annie is developing the waterjet design and manufacturing market in Shanghai, China.
