What materials do you fabricate?
All architectural floor coverings, stone, glass, ceramics, stainless steel, brass, bronze and more. Visit our materials page for a selection of materials that we work in.

Do you install?
In general we provide complete installation kits for installation by skilled tradesmen. Where necessary, Creative Edge Master Shop will quote installation.

How do you package & ship?
We provide carefully planned packages and crates. We protect individual parts with shrink wrap and foam. We use LTL carriers or deliver with our own truck.

How many parts are in a stone medallion?
Individual stone pieces can range to the thousands. All Creative Edge Master Shop medallions are sub-assembled, so installers are dealing with parts 12" to 30" in general.

Can you work from our CAD files?
We can work directly from your CAD files.

What file formats do you use?
Our programming department works primarily with any vector-based drawing file. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, jpeg, pdf and tiff files are also used as drawing and material reference for jobs.

Do you supply materials?
We are happy to quote materials or work with customer materials. Often customers supply neutral field materials and Creative Edge Master Shop supplies colored materials that make up the designs. What if a part breaks?
All Creative Edge Master Shop projects are computer-based. If a part breaks it can be replaced by referring to part numbers in our diagram.

Do you out-source, or do you make everything?
We make everything!

Do you design?
We do original designs through our in-house design service, Aalto Design, and we collaborate with designers to adapt their ideas for waterjet fabrication. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, jpeg, pdf, tiff files, and even faxed reference drawings, can be used as drawing, color and material reference for custom design jobs.
