A prized building material for millennia, marble has outstanding color, texture, and patterns. Creative Edge's palette has a spectrum of 51 colors. The samples shown here may be supplemented by any available stone to create a waterjet masterpiece.
All granites can be used in waterjet fabrication.Durable outdoor slabs, 3" thick, are used for plazas, fountains, and streetscapes. Slabs 2 – 3 cm are used in floors and countertops. 1 cm tiles are useful for flooring.
There are dozens of ceramic and porcelain manufacturers. The sampling presented here indicates an idea of the range of colors and textures that are available.
Architectural metals are used for strength, durability and beauty. Waterjet technology cuts without heat and doesn’t weaken, harden or discolor any metals. Edges created by waterjet are smooth and clean, with a sand-blasted appearance.
Resilient materials refer to a vast number of materials: carpet, rubber, sheet vinyl, vinyl tile, vinyl composition tile, carpet tile, linoleum, and luxury vinyl. These products are used to fabricate lobby and hallway patterns, logos, way-finding, warning notices and art works on the floors.
Terrazzo is one of the most enduring flooring materials. CEMS pioneered the use of dividers cut directly from metal plate.These forms are useful for detailed logos, lettering, maps, and artwork. Color samples shown here are courtesy of the National Terrazzo & Marble Association.
